Here is two pictures of my bow kill last season from indiana, one with me and one with my girlfriend holding it, it has split brow tines and 10 points maybe 11 redneck style, i know the only way to get the exact answer is to have it scored but its still in my deep freazer, so i would like to have you folk's estimates on this, Thanks!

Also the inside spread is 21 and 3/4!

I think it would score in the mid 130's.

I agree, some where in there. Last year my buddy shot one that everyone thought would be around 170 class and when officially scored it was 154 and it was a monster. Makes me wonder what a deer that scores in the 190's must look like in person.

125 or 130 or so would be my guess.

Nice buck. B&C has a calculator that you enter measurements and it spits out the score. Hard to tell what it would score. Gross score might be 150 before deductions...Idunno. I would be happy to shoot it.

I'm no official scorer but with it's good width and beam length i'm sayin 130's to 140's. He don't have really long times but the buck does have good mass from what i can see. Get a cloth tape and measure it, it will give ya a good guess. Very nice buck regardless of what it scores. Congrats

It's definently hard to tell in the pics. That's one nice buck and congrats to you!! On the score, I'm guessing in the low 130's or high 120's. The buck appears to have great mass, good spread, but is lacking in the tine length. Appears to be fairly uniform on both sides, so there shouldn't be much on deductions!! Anyhow, that's a buck to be proud off.

Great job bro!! reps to ya!!

Oh by no means am i a horn hunter, i took that buck and 11 does last year to feed my family, and trust me thats not over harvest when you have 1100 acres of farm land to hunt, i have bow hunted that buck for 2 seasons and he was past his prime, he was much larger last year. I have bow hunted for 12 years in search of some major bone with my bow, ill take any mature deer, its all meet in the freezer! Wack em en stack em!! thanks for the compliments guys, but they are deffinately over populated in this part of indiana.

Congrats on that hog!!!

My guess is about 145, hard to tell when you cant see the deductions. Theyll mess up a score quick, also thats green score, ya might lose another 3-4 points after it dries.

That sure is a nice deer. I would say around 130 +- 10, its had to tell from pictures and only after seeing the deer dead for awhile can you tell. They usually shrink after being on the ground awhile. But that is a nice buck by my book, i would be very happy with him. I am happy over the does I shoot. SGT Shorey out

I'd say 125 to 130. He has an awesome spread and decent mass, but lacks the tine height to score high. Definitely a shooter buck in my book if he is an older deer on his way down.

i say 135ish whats the real score?

I'm going to say upper 130's for sure. It looks like it might have some decent mass, so that might push it into the 141-142 range. I'm talking gross score. Net after deductions and drying out, oh, I'd say probably 125.

A buddy of mine killed one a couple of years ago that went just under 125 gross. It wasn't as wide, or as much mass as yours, but it had a bit longer tines that were all close to perfect.

Great deer Collin!

I don't know jack about scoring bucks. My way of scoring bucks goes like this...... He's too small, he'll be bigger next year, he's a shooter, that's a hawg, and HOLY $%#@ he's big!!!!!!

The only thing that maters is that you hunted him for 2 years and when the time came, you laid the smack down on him! Let's hear the story about the hunt.

11 does? Way to thin out the population bro! Wish more people around here would do the same thing.

Congrats again on a great deer!! Bet you're ready to climb up in a tree stand and smoke another one. Lord knows that I am!!!!

Thank you so much for your support, ok ill tell the story and now i do have the final score after drying! Well the day started off with my girlfriend begging to go hunting so i gave in, november 4th, i decided we would go and sit in my big double ladder stand since i knew there would atleast be does around and she wanted to see me shoot something, the ground blind is in my SACRED spot, where i expected him to be, So around 2pm we got ready and headed to the spot when we arrived we discovered my uncle was in the middle of cutting and hauling wood(not a bowhunter) it was the perfect mess, i was very upset, so now im stuck with deciding where me n the mrs can go enjoy the evening and not stick out like a soar thumb, i called my buddy and he allowed us to hunt his property adjacent to our first choice spot, we got there and nothing was right, we jumped deer going in and it was hot and mosquitoes were horrible, so we decided to leave, it was about 45 mins before dark and it was coming quick, we decided to drive by our first chosen spot to see if my uncle was done to try n do a lil spot and stalk, and me not bein very optimistic was driving fast and just wanted to go home, when my girlfriend yelled STOP look at all those deer cutting across that field! I couldnt tell what was all there i just knew there were plenty of deer and if we hurried we could cut them off at a point where two fields kneck down into the woods, with the wind right we looped around and got set up just in time and they were about 200 yards out, i pulled out my optics and saw him and lost my bearings, my girl said honey honey thats him thats him, and she said it way to loud!! they changed course and were gonna end up entering the woods about 100 yards from us, so i pulled out my grunt snort weeze and hit it twice, and buddy that set his a$$ on fire, having all those does with him was the only reason he got fired up, those were his girls, he cut off from the pack and angled towards us doing a big circle trying to wind us but it was just in our favor, he stopped at 34 yards to turn and check on his ladys when i drew and let the beamon shaft fly, i got a perfect double lung on him and he ran about 60 yards and expired, with the does still there and extremely confused i decided to take a shot at the lead one, i ranged her at 58 yards and shot high but got her right in the spine and dropped her!! it was the most amazing bow hunt of my life, and to be able to share it with my girl was priceless, whe are now planning on investing in some camera equiptment and a new bear compound for my girl, she did end up taking two deer this year as well, one with her hyundai and another with my h&r 44 mag!!
I hope you all enjoy reading the story as much as i do telling it!! Alsp the final score ended up to be 139 5/8, my biggest deer yet and my first bow buck!! And yes i can NOT wait to get back up in my summit as iv already got great trail can photos of one that looks to be that deers daddy!!

What was the score of the buck in you avitar pic??

174 5/8ths, had it scored by a game warden. Got him with a savage 110 30/06. No exciting story like yours though. I was reading a book, heard a doe trying to sneak thru a little opening and passed on her. I waited and out walks this guy and boom, end of story. I had been hunting him for a few years but that was the first clear shot I got of him. Tried bow hunting him but he was always 100+ yards away. I got another nice 8pt muzzleloading ill post if I can find it, it went 150 something.
