My son is stationed at Fort Riley. To get to where he lives we cross the Tuttle Creek Dam. What you can see from the dam looks good but I do not see where people are fishing it much. Whats up with this? I want to drag the boat over there and try to get him interested in fishing again. Is this place worth my time?--paddle:0a17:

Tuttle Creek is a vary good catfish lake.It holds good numbers of channels and Flatheads. At this time of the year the cat fishing is at the north end of the lake. There are some sageye being caught at the outlet .
Tuttle is a windy lake and the water becomes muddy after any rain.
Fishing in the river below the dam will pickup in may.
Milford is also a good lake, it holds cats, walleye, crappie, and wipers.
