Theres a Spot Right before the river dumps into the Salton Sea that the catfish cant go back up due to a drop and they cant go forward into the salty water ...soo... theres 50+ pounders pulled out all the time...:)

Is that the spot where there are 2 drops really close together?

well it starts there...but the best spots are closer to the sea...in back of the geothermal plants...but some of it is private soo watch out...

Not to sure how safe the fish are out of the alomo are to be eating, but sure would be fun to catch the big hogs

Yeah i never eat any of them... ive seen two fish over 60 come out of there...and last year i had one snap 100 pound braid...There is one spot just after the cal energy offices by their machine shop...take the road to the east of the bridge about a quater mile back and theres a small spot by a salt cedar...thats called the 30 and over hole...never caught anything under that their...good luck
