Brother which Deer Creek do you mean? There are two that I know of,
one is Deer Creek Reservoir and Deer Creek Lake that supplies water for
Alliance Oh. As far as the reservoir, I can't help you but Deer Creek Lake
is electric only, it is one of the best crappie lakes in the area. Cats go from 12 to 20 inches on average, bass fishing is great if your into that.

http://www.gofishohio.com/lakemaps/gfoDeerCreekRes.php, here is the link for the lake. I live in Louisville and I drive north on route 225 about
four miles, the road that leads to the lake is directly across from a small
private airfield called Barber Field. The road is just south of the bridge
that spans the first part of Berlin Resivoir. It is a nice small lake to picnic
with the family if you so desire, also it has nice bank fishing.

There are lots of nice channels in there. I always just bank fish off of old 207. Usually have to get there at a decent time if you want a nice spot, because it gest crowded on warm nights in the summer.

I was at the spillway from 8 - 5 Today was getting alot of hits on Shrimp but there was a lot of small saugers (I snagged one and cut it up) did get some pretty strong bites off of that but no takers. I snagged a blue gill also and caught about a 1.5 - 2lbs Channel I didnt even know it was on my line. I was reeling in to check the bait (Gill Head) and it was on there. Here are some pics of the outing.

My wife also caught a small sauger and I think it was a Small Drum or Buffalo Carp. It had Purple on the top of its head anybody know what that is? Also had sucker like lips
