I've been out there 3 time so far this year, got a 10 lb 6oz, an 11 lb 8 oz, and a 8 lb 8 oz channel so far also caught and released a couple smaller 2-3 lb channels. I usually I only stay out until about 1 am or so. All I've been using so far is cut shad sides, fresh frozen ones from the bait shop. Seems to be prouducing decent fish but as always I'd like to be catching a few more fish per night. Theres been times I only get one bite all night long, but I can't complain at all.
Anyone else had any luck out there this year yet? I swear last year I saw way more boats out there every night I went out.
