Got my first 40+ of the season ladies lol. This little gal was 44 pounds. Caught her in 8 to 10 ft of water near a 15 ft hole. Was using a whole shad with one fillet off the side. I was up for over 36 hours before I caught this one cause I went to the river straight from work. s_man is tired in this photo lol.

I also only have to wake up 28 more time to go to work until my 2 and 1/2 month summer vacation and you bet your Buckeye behind I will stalking the nights.:cool2:

Thanks for all the replies guys, that one fought harder than any flat I've ever hooked lol. I really thought my rod was gonna break. She was short but had a massive girth. I thought for sure when I was lifting her into the boat that I'd busted that mythical 50 pound barrier that keeps eluding me, but sadly no, lol.
