I know many times on here we have got into debate's, especially when it pertains to Lowrance, and being able to tell the difference between scaled and non-scaled fish. 95% of people will tell you that sonar is actually picking up the air bladder in the fish, and thats what gives you your return. I want you guys to take a look at this clip if you have time, basically what this video is showing is a Lowrance Tech demonstrating the HD broad bound sounder, he's actually demonstrating the unit that can be added to the last generation of Lowrance Sonar units, of course the new HDS model's have it already built in. You can watch the entire thing if you want (10 minutes), but what I really wanted to show you starts at the 6:50 mark of the clip. Pay close attention, you will probably wonder the same thing I am, and it kind of takes the air bladder thing and tosses it right out the window which is real interesting.
