Welcome to the BOC Roy. I can't really say I have, although I've been here in BR for school I fished off the levee twice to no avail and am moving back to Lafayette in a week, so it'll be a while till another try. I wasn't really expecting to catch there anyways, mainly just to hang out and relax by the water. There are a few guys that do fish the Mississippi here, though.

When the river floods this spring, you'll be able to catch plenty of fish in the bar pitts just south of LSU campus. Don't be discouraged by StuBone's comment. He doesn't even know how to catch catfish.
