Lake Norman in North Carolina - Blue catfish

Went out on Lake Norman today and I got 5 Blues to about 8 lbs, and a couple of channel cats. Nothing big... I did drop 1 that was about 20 lbs.. i got him to the boat and the hook popped.. oh well... most fish came from about 25- 30 feet of water... the big fish came out of 60 ft.. the wind picked up to much to fish the main channel...

Nice to get some fish on any trip. Sounds like you are doing ok on these larger lakes. Hope a big'un bites your line soon.
