Flatties waking up

Heard about a few nice flats being caught lately. Hopefully if we can ever string together a few warm days in a row the action will really pick up.

I caught a 2 lb. flathead on fresh caught shad Friday in this area. I turned it loose to let it have a chance to grow up.

Hey Rob,
Had some luck already this Spring north of the 99 bridge.

Tried down behind the State hospital...only to find it was full of brush ans branches from the dumbsh*ts who were clearing the area from the tornado a couple years ago.... Theres fish to be had, but it has been quite slow.

Last night got a 30, 33 and a dink...my buddy ended up with a 7lb walleye. If we could only get a couple of nice warm days. This cold weather is getting old.
