Catfish Part II has been designed to assist the catfisher person in identifying the catfish that he/she just recently caught. Below I will list the species and then offer an Internet link for that species.
Flathead catfish: http://whozoo.org/Anlife99/jasflores/flatheadindex2.htm
Ark. Blue catfish: http://www.ncwildlife.org/pg03_Fishing/profiles/pages/Blue_catfish.htm
Channel catfish:http://www.dnr.state.md.us/fisheries/fishfacts/channelcatfish.asp
White catfish: http://myfwc.com/WildlifeHabitats/Freshwaterfish_WhiteCatfish.htm
Black Bullhead catfish:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_bullhead
Yellow Bullhead catfish:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_bullhead
Brown Bullhead catfish:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_bullhead
When you catch a catfish and you are not sure what type it is, always count the rays on the fins just below the anus or take a side view photograph depicting the rays, plus the tail and the head. Present this information on the BOC and I'm sure someone will let you know what you caught.
