clermont lake in florida

If all goes well I will be taking the boat out this weekend to the minneola lake area(clermont florida),Has anyone catfished it and has anyone have any tips about this area ?

Well we went to the lake last night but the wind and waves was just to much :sad2: so we found a outlet channel on panasoffkee lake upstream from a small dam fished for a few hours with nothing biting except the bugs lol.
We did see a few gar around the dam and watched a few large air boats put in. No catfish this weekend :smile2: maybe next time,
