Please tell me somebody out there is still fishing for cats. I havent seen any new posts for so long I was afraid I was all alone out here. I caught one cat this weekend 13# nothing to brag about but better than nothing...

Thank God there is somebody still out there fishing. I caught it in a small cove off the main channel while drop jigging a 1/16 oz. slider jig. I fish the little cove regularly and have caught a best one of 15# from it. Little 6ft channel and a nice sloping bank with lots of junk in the water to snag on. It is the Eagle Point boat launch, where I launc my boat, so it is given that I will fish it every time I launch to get the lines wet and fill the bait tank.
