has any one made use of the expensive green lights for bringing bait up? some of those lights cost almost $200. there are some led models that are a lot less. I just placed an order for some raw unmounted led's in green and plan to do some experimenting. They claim the green is very effective in bringing up plankton that the bait fish eat. I have tried a sumersible white light with some success in past years. John

Wow, my wife just bought me two 22inch submersible green lights. I have heard the same things you have about them, but I haven't got to try them out yet. I will let you know if I have any luck. Good luck to you.

I know people that have used them side by side with white lights. Most are still using the white lights. So that tells me the White must be working better?
