which fish finder??

I may get 100 answers to this but whats a good fishfinder for cats without blowing the budget? All I have now is a $79 eagle. It doesn't have much bottom definition. GPS isn't an important option as I've got a good portable unit. thanks in advance for the help.

Just depends on if you're fishing tournaments or not. I dont fish tournaments and use a Lowrance 125X unit. Completely satisfied with it's performance for the money. (about $300 new). Hummingbird & Lowrance seem to be the leaders for both the pleasure and tournament anglers.
