Holloway Dam

I got up early and went over to the dam. I fished for 2 hr. and didn't even get a bite. The same was true for the other 8 fisherman there. The gates were open and the water was boiling. There is still ice on the res., but it's not safe. I think it's a little early yet.
Has anyone else been out?
