Where can I get water temperatures for the Mississippi river?

not sure about temps up your way ............. u can follow the posts on this thread ,and generally , we give the water temps when go on the river down this way.........................

This link will give you river information (usually pool elevation and temperature at least) on the Upper Mississippi from Minneapolis, MN to Guttenberg, Iowa: http://www.mvp-wc.usace.army.mil/projects/lock_dam.shtml

If you don't get what you want from this I would follow the links back to the Corps of Engineers website and they should have the information for your area too, I would think.

Like Coach said, check back on this thread from time to time. The fellas that regularly post here provide a lot of information. Hopefully, I'll be able to give you the water temp at Greenville sometime tomorrow afternoon.

The water temp at Tunica, Ms. was 50 degs today. Hope this helps

Water temp at Greenville was 54-55 Sunday.
