View Full Version : First catfish of the year!

Well, me and Rajun_Cajun went down to the creek by my house. Didn't catch much, but I caught a fat bullhead and a really fat channel (I thought) that weighed 3 pounds. The bullhead was the first cat of the year for me! Heres some pictures

Nice fish Travis. I dont think that the first fish is a bullhead though. I could be mistaken , but I believe that is a small channel. Good fish though. Did you guys fillet them?:)

Haha, yeah, thats the channel cat that I caught. I didn't get pictures of the bullhead (thought I said that, but oh well) but thats a nice sized cat for a creek like the one here. Channels are few and far between, at least when catching them, because of the numerous bullheads ;)
