Neuse in Smithfield

Anyone fished from the Lumberyard boat ramp in Smithfield lately? The landowner has put up a heavy duty gate right as you go in. Dont know any details yet but have heard it is $100 a year for a key.

yes thats what hes doing says hes tired of folks not paying trashingit up and throwing all the dead deer out down there so hes putting up a gate 100 a year ,thats a good thing keep those trying to wipe out the river out of there

go by and talk to big john in the bait shop there hell get you the info the guys office is right up th road from the bait shop

hes still going let us use it he wil be there to take boat ramp fees unless you have a year pass
