Here is a pic of the 6 i was talking bout, and a pic of a 9 i passed on several occasions with my bow, next season im gonna get him.been watching him since early august and found some fresh rubs today and 4 days ago that still had all the shaving from rubbing around the base of the trees.sure hope he stays for another year so i can send an arrow through his boiler maker.

Hi Folks,
Im will be leaving my cousins this morning (Fancher Jm) to go back to georgia. Its been great to spend time with him.
Im in Oakland, Ms. Its a fairly large farm surrounded by goverment land. Its has been very cold, on the 13th of Jan 09, I set up with the wind in my face over looking a drianed lake bottom. The does came out of hard woods at about 1700 hrs. Five of them were nibbling on fresh green grass.
The buck came out about 10 min and was trailing a doe. The Buck was shot at over 400 yards, My lazer range finder would not give me a nonreflective reading at over 450 yards.
It was shot with a .300 Weatherby Mag using 150 grain Nos Partition and it hit the boiler room!
This was the first deer that ever ran after it was shot with this rifle. It took off about 75 yards and died.
I dont know its weight but my cousin and I could not lift it, we had to field dress it and then we got it up on the 4 wheeler. I would guess over 200 lbs. Teresa has already called Woody and it will be mounted. It was a great late season rut hunt!
Im very thankful that the good Lord allowed me to take such a great animal!
I would highly recommend the late season hunt ,it is a must do hunt to club members. Muzzle loader will start soon and run to mid Feb.

In the words of my cousin Fancher Jm {jimbo} "A man can have the most costly automobile in the world, and still not be able to drive it!"
Good Shot Cuz!
300 weatherby magnum, free floated, bedded, muzzled, trigger tickled, resonated and bi and mono podded! Its the most accurate rifle I have ever owned and or shot!
