Umbrella Holder

This product is designed to install on most swivel boat seats that are attached with standard four bolt mount.

When installed properly you can rotate the umbrella 360 degrees around the boat seat and never have to move the boat or boat seat to protect yourself from the elements or nature, (Sun Rays and Rain). For your convenience the universal umbrella holder will accommodate numerous (Golf or Beach) umbrella shafts of different diameter and lengths and has a thumb screw attached to tighten snugly on the shaft to keep the umbrella from turning and blowing upward and out of the holder.

The idea of the Umbrella E-Z Mount was born when a friend of the family suggested that I look at his umbrella holder. We started talking about the high temperatures on an area lake where we were going to fish during the next few weeks, and he explained that he had found a solution to the endless heat that can be bothersome to a fisherman. The seat on his boat held an umbrella holder that rotated 360 degrees with the lower end resting on the deck of the boat to hold it in place. It was a great idea, but it would not fit my boat which is stick steering with seats mounted on a rectangular box instead of a pedestal. I knew I needed an umbrella holder that rotated independently of the seat, so that regardless of the boat position, I was protected from the sun. So, with determination to find my own solution, I started researching, measuring and cutting patterns out of cardboard in attempt to create a rotating umbrella holder.

After many hours of work and several prototypes, I had an umbrella holder to fit my stick steering boat with box seats that rotated 360 degrees on the same horizontal plane as the seat. It is off the deck, out of the way and stays in the desired position. It securely holds golf or beach umbrellas, as it keeps them from rotating or blowing away, despite the weather conditions. Wow! I knew this holder was going to work!

I realized that if I could create an umbrella holder for my stick steering boat, then I could create one for most boats. So I constructed an adapter kit not only to fit a box mounted seat, but also most pedestal seats that have a standard four bolt mounting plate, whether it is a three degree tilt plate or a six degree tilt plate.

My family and friends encouraged me to patent it, to manufacture it and to sell it for other fishermen to enjoy. Now I can offer you the same Umbrella E-Z Mount for your time of fishing fun.

Since I am retired, the marketing of the Umbrella E-Z Mount may take away from my fishing time and golfing time, but the time I spend fishing will be spent more comfortably! I know yours will be too.

I would like to thank my sons, a mechanical engineer and a computer engineer and my step-son, an attorney, for their help with the design process, the marketing website and legal advice in creating the Umbrella E-Z Mount. My company, LPW Enterprises, Inc. was formed and has been granted a license to manufacture and to sell, both wholesale and retail, my Umbrella-E-Z Mount holder. I also want to thank my friends and family who supported me with their time and patience during this new endeavor.

If you love to fish, you have to have two on your fishing boat!

Enjoy!

Gary, my wife loves the setup.

Once your wife see's it, you will be in the same boat as me, "Getting One".

Bimini tops are too expensive and restrictive for many boats, I really like this setup.
