Seems like an extraordinary amount of work for a catfish.

Snag a big old 50# or 60# cat in the eye or skull and then do what with it?

As far as I am concerned snagging should be illegal. Wo knows what kind of damage you do to the ones you don't catch. How many big cats are killed because of people snagging?

Im kinda with Shep on this one. Although it isnt just cats that are getting torn up. Now, I dont discredit any man or woman that needs a meal and if snagging is thier sure fire way to put somethin in the grease then I say more power to them, I've watched Snaggers and it looks to be alot of work. More work than I want to do while fishin. :)

Problem with snagging is you don't get half the fish you snag. No telling how bad they are injured or what kind of fish they are. Forget regular fishing when there are a bunch of snaggers. You can't keep them off your line.
Way too much work, I tried it a few times, got a few cats and drum, but when I get to go fish'n, I want to relax and enjoy it, kinda like trotline'n, by the time you put out lines, get bait and get it all put together it's turned into work and I'm into not work'n as much as possible, esp. on a fish'n trip and will not be guilty of turn'n a fish'n trip into work, again.
