Has anybody done any good at the mouth of the licking down in cincinnati? Thinkin about going tommorrow

Havent fished there this year,but i did eat lunch in that park on Newport side two weeks ago and saw guys catch two looked like maybe 5Lbs each on the Covinton side of the bank and i was only there for about 35mins.

i beleive theyre talking about a different licking river down by cincinnatti on the ky side........not the river that runs from buckeye lake to dillon......

im familiar with the river that runs through newark, my favorite part ( besides the spillway) is the stretch from rt 668 to dillon resovior....some good parts in there.......but its been really low and my fav spot down there has been taken over by snappers n softshells..........

I quess there is two of them there is a River in Kentucky named Licking its mouth is across from Cincinnati's puplic landing.

A couple of weeks ago I got a 4.5lb channel right in Newark.

^ I forgot to add this.
The River was way up when katrina hit, so I have been there since then. I'm thinking of going to the river next week sometime.

the river was so low earlier this summer.......i bet all them fish in dillon are running now..........u might wanna try the river closer to dillon.....u know where 146 is right off 16?? take 146 toward the dam and turn right at the mill........theres a bridge.....seems like good water down there....the mill is only about 4 miles away from rt 16.......

is it finally hitting?? i havent tried it all summer cause the water was very low....have u seen staddens bridge earlier this summer?? it looked more like a lil stream, i remember a few years ago we used to jump off that bridge, i wouldnt even think about it this past summer........

Fished from 5-9 on Saturday from the point on the Covington side. I had one big hit on a goldfish. He mangled it, but never came back to finish it. Nothing on shad or bluegill.

Hey Big Vert i think these guys are talking about a river up in Ohio here we went threw this a while back.I found out there in one north of me called Licking also but i know just where your talking about i was taking my lunch there in the park on Newport side this summer a few times but havent fished there this year at all.

Man I'd never be able to fish at a place called licking river,I'd be to busy thinking about other things. LOL
