This fish abruptly slammed one of my poles and started off down river. It put up a great fight and weighed just over 61 pounds, after compensating for the weight of our net. I was happy I caught it during one of the fish-offs! It was released and swam right off as soon as I put it in the water.

Better not laugh at the scale picture, lol!

Had a great day fishin with Pat on my home lake when I got this flathead. Beautiful weather with early water temps of 79F while the air was in the lower 80's...just plain nice out.

We dropped anchor in about 25' by 8:30 am and put out cut bait around the boat. Didn't take to long and we started catching some small cats and bass. Midmorning my rod went down and the fight was on. Caught several flats and one blue from midnight to 6 am, all from the points of parallel wing dikes, and mostly from the high spot of the trailing sand bar. Used a mixture of creek chubs, split and not split, and green sunnies. Wind was from the east (!), cloudy and cool all night, rain moved in later in the afternoon.

Was fishing with puddle jumper. We caught a total of 13 fish. Used cut skipjack and cut shad for bait.

well this bad boy was the only good thing in a really bad night considerin i had to be pulled outta the river by my buddy jesse after my motor mount busted ugh he hit a somewhat fresh skip head when i tossed it right behind a large log in 15ft of water at 85.6 degrees in a swift current the other blues caught last night were all around 5-8lbs outside of him and the large softshell turtles that was caught all but first blue came on skips

Snuck out for a few hours saturday night. Stopped at waverly boat ramp/ white river to get some bait first. there was too many idiots to fish here. This 67 lb. blue was caught on the same night as the 46 I submitted earlier, I just decided to sandbag a couple weeks . I was really lucky to get this fish in. It got on and went to the bank and almost got me hung up, I could feel my line scrubbin' on somethin' as I was fightin' the fish. I loosened my drag a little and finally got it to the boat. Well got out to the lake about 7:30pm an got to the fishing spot about 7:50pm or so an casted my Fat Kat bobber with a cut gill that was not going to make it he was swimming funny in the bait bucket an about 10mins later I hear my clicker slowly pulling line out I set the hook an boy he was a big one I thought he was good size only 22lbs.

Fishing on Monticello with Jimmy Johnny. Drifting in about 30' of water with 6 rods and 2 down-rods. Sunny day, little wind so we had to use the trolling motor. Caught using a whole shrimp on a 7/0 Matzuo Sickle hook, 30# cajun red line.

Caught on limbline the same night I blew headgasket on boat motor.
Not too exciting, But there will bigger in future.

Fished the Caddo River at lower Degary dam, got a late start and didn't get there till around 10:00 pm. Bite has been slow everywhere around here. Caught this fish a couple mins past midnight. Skys were cloudy and misted just a little. Got one other bite before we picked up and moved to another river at 4:00am

This was my first trip since the start of the fish off. After an all nighter with fellow BOC member BradleyG, this 29 lber got on in the mornin' and was my big fish for the trip. Water temps are startin' to cool, and were 79-80 degrees. The big fish bite should only get better in the months to come. It was a good trip and a good start to the fish off.

I caught this Blue in about 30 feet of water on a piece of cutbait. I had initially upgraded to a 36 pounder earlier that night, so this fish was a nice surprise. It put up a great fight and was released as always. Net weight (w/o handle) subtracted from scale reading.

I got this little fatty in about 20 feet of water on a live gill. I was fishing solo so thank god I had the net.

Whistler, Bam and I went fishing saturday night, after catching some blue gills, we set up in the middle of the river. We set our rods out with live blue gills and we waited. Marc and I had a great night on Saturday. We caught a bunch of nice fish but this 69 lber was my new PB Blue (by 2 lbs)! It really put up a great fight and I was worried it would get off at the boat. I caught this fish from the same area Marc got his upgrade. I can't believe I upgraded!

She aint a big one...but it'll work ; )

My wife and I had our best "big fish" night ever this weekend. This fish was one of four over 45 pounds that we caught from a single anchor position! What a night to remember. This Blue hit in 35 feet of water and will be an eight pound upgrade for the team.

I've been working my butt off since the tourny started and had to get out for a lil bit last night. Rising lake, windy conditions.
It's not a big one but I've got one on the books now! ! !

Fishing has been slow in my favorite area, but I managed 14 fish today, the largest a 15 pound blue cat and a nice (for my area) channel cat of 8 pounds. Water flow was slow today. My fishing should pick up nicely as the water cools.

Caught three Channels that night, a 9 lbr I couldnt photgraph very well, a 8 lbr wich is the picture, and a 6 lbr. All were caught between 3-330 am on a Kat Bobber and Black Perch three feet deep.

fished with 2 fellow BOC members on the potomac mike(PIP) and john(northporttroller). it was around 4:30am and the weather was drizzle and upper 50's for the temp. my first fish caught was this 42#. the pic with the scale is of the net and fish/ net weights 2#, thats why it says 44# in the pic. all in all it was a great day fishing with 2 other fellow BOC brothers
